SACHIN CHHEDA
Partner
Sachin Chheda is a partner at Nation Consulting. He is an experienced nonprofit, advocacy, communications,
and government relations professional.
Sachin works primarily with the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty and with the Wisconsin Fair Trade Coalition, as well as assisting with the firm's other clients. He has previously worked with diverse clients including The SEED Foundation, SEIU, Wisconsin Stem Cell Now, and a variety of political campaigns.
Prior to coming to Nation Consulting in 2006, Sachin spent five years as an aide to Governor Jim Doyle, including as Field Director of his initial campaign for Governor, as Operations Director of the Transition, as External Relations Manager and Southeast Wisconsin Director in the Office of the Governor and as Senior Budget & Policy Advisor and Director of Shared Information Services at the Wisconsin Department of Administration.
Sachin has 17 years of political and issue campaign experience in Wisconsin and Missouri, on both federal and state races. He has worked with Wisconsin Citizen Action, Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, among many others.
Sachin is active in the community, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for NARAL Pro-Choice America and the Wisconsin Coalition of Asian Indian Organizations. He is also the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where his wife Angela McManaman currently works as an editor. Sachin and Angie live in the historic Bay View neighborhood, with their three children.
